ABSTRACT:

This talk will introduce the science and engineering capabilities of Weather Predict Consulting (WPC) in risk management. The topics will include WPC resources and capabilities, modeling tropical cyclone risk, simulating tropical cyclone hazards, hurricane vulnerability modeling, seasonal and intra-seasonal precipitation prediction, real-time operational meteorology, super ensemble forecasts of weather, storm prediction and post-storm analysis, and global digital agricultural products.
