ABSTRACT:

In this talk I will present a few examples of how we used structural bioinformatics to enhance discovery of new enzymes and predict new enzymatic and regulatory mechanisms. These examples come from our work on elucidating the biosynthesis pathways of the modified nucleosides of transfer-RNA.
