ABSTRACT:
The Computational Science Research Center at San Diego State University proudly presents ACSESS for Industry on Friday, March 12, 2004, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm at the SDSU Casa Real.
The event is sponsored by the Computational Science Research Center, the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation, and the College of Sciences and will feature representatives from both academia and industry. Industrial representatives in advanced technologies will present their view on the labor force forecast and will summarize their recruitment requirements. The panel of academicians will briefly present what the Computational Science Research Center has been developing through a Sloan grant to address industry requirements. A Q&A session will follow the presentations.
As a part of this event, a special presentation will be given by Jim Blinn from Microsoft Research.
