ABSTRACT:

In Observation to Cesar Chavez Day this Colloquium has been rescheduled for next Fall.

We have developed methods to analyze whole genome sequencing data and apply the results to diagnose rare diseases that have escaped diagnosis for many years. I will provide a brief introduction to the Illumina sequencing technology and then discuss the clinical variant calling workflows and their application to rare disease.
