ABSTRACT:
MOLE is a high quality (C++ & MATLAB) library that implements high order discrete analogs of the most common vector calculus operators: Gradient, Divergence, Curl and Laplacian. These discrete operators (matrices) can be used to solve 1D, 2D, and 3D partial differential equations. . These operators (matrices) act on staggered grids (uniform and nonuniform) and they satisfy local and global conservation laws. It can be found here: https://github.com/csrc-sdsu/mole
In this talk I will give a brief introduction/update to high order mimetic methods as well as show some examples using the MOLE Library. I will present linear and nonlinear ( elliptic, parabolic and hyperbolic) problems to demonstrate the effectiveness of the MOLE library when used to solve a diverse type of problems.
