     An Evaluation Method for MASOES Applied to Social Force Model for Pedestrian Dynamics

Abstract

MASOES is a multi-agent architecture for designing and modeling emerging and self-organized systems. The architecture
describes the elements, relationships and mechanisms, both at the individual and the collective levels, which favor the analysis of the emerging, self-organizing phenomenon without mathematically modeling the system. In this work, a method is proposed for evaluating MASOES from the point of view of design, and studying the emergent and self-organized behavior of the modeled system with this architecture. This method is based on the wisdom of crowd paradigm and fuzzy cognitive maps. Besides, the criteria, concepts, causal relations, the initialization and execution phases are defined and evaluated
through a case study applied to Social force model for pedestrian dynamics with a tool called FCM Designer.
