Abstract
In this work we present a Cholesky
multifrontal factorization implemented
under out-of-core technology. The
out-of-core
implementation uses a multi-way
cache and multithread prefetch algoritms.
We use a set of test problems. The
results shows a
good performance of the our factorization
in comparison to in-core implementation.
The results are presented in terms
of the memory requirements and CPU
times.
