Areas of Research
The main thrust of the CSRC is to pursue cutting-edge scientific research in interdisciplinary areas of science. Ongoing research efforts span a wide variety of topics, drawing from such diverse areas as Astronomy, Biology, Computer Science, Chemistry, Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, Geological Sciences, Mathematics, and Physics. It is important to note that the emphasis is on novel research topics that do not fall within the domains of any single scientific discipline. The crucial role of the Center is to foster the exchange of ideas and collaboration among scientists across fields.
