ABSTRACT:
Results include:
1. Fitting the action potential of the heart by a modified FitzHugh model. Results can possibly be used to diagnose atrial fibrillation.
2. Unidirectional pulses, a new method of their stimulation and their use a.: to suppress VT/VF, b: to create spiral pairs. The properties and importance of such pairs.
3. Two dimensional maps of rapid pacing of the heart and when to use them.
4. Chaotic wave trains in a mixed LC-Excitable medium. Application to the heart’s stimulating system–the Sinus Node”.
