Dany graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (2001) at the Experimental Faculty of Sciences and Technology in La Universidad de Carabobo, Valencia, Venezuela. He received his Master Degree in Computational Science (Numerical Analysis) (2006), from La Universidad Central de Venezuela, Caracas, Venezuela. Dany works as Research Assistant in the Mathematics Department in the Experimental Faculty of Sciences and Technology at La Universidad de Carabobo.

His main field of interest is Numerical Analysis, in particular, Computational Fluid Dynamics, Numerical Solutions of PDE's and Numerical Linear Algebra. Currently, Dany is pursuing a PhD in Computational Science at San Diego State University/Claremont Graduate University Joint Doctoral Program, in which his research is performed at the Computational Science Research Center. Dany’s research includes applying Computational Fluid Dynamics to Ocean and Atmosphere models, and is addressing the problem of coupling an atmosphere model with GCOM (General Curvilinear Ocean Model).
