Master's Program Requirements
Program Requirements:
Advancement to Candidacy: All
students must satisfy the general requirements
for advancement to candidacy, and the
basic requirements for the Master's degree.
please see the Graduate Division's Graduate
Bulletin.
The student must complete a graduate
program of 30 units, of which at least
15 units must be at the 600-level or above
excluding 797, 798 and 799A to include:
1. Twelve units from
the list of required core courses below:

500 or 600 level electives from the Colleges
of Science or Engineering
4. Six units of research
including thesis, 797 and 799
Acomplete student program must be approved
by the Computational Science program director
Thesis Project: The student must
develop a thesis project with two faculty
members from different departments.
