The New Interdisciplinary Workforce (NIW)
for the 21st Century provides stipends
for bachelor and doctoral students who
are interested in a career based on team
approaches to problem solving in the biomedical
sciences. Participation in student research
interships is an important part of the
program. NIW is supported by a grant from
the National Institutes of Health and
managed by the SDSU's Computational Science
Research Center.
