TITLE: THE STAR-P PLATFORM FOR PARALLEL APPLICATION DEVELOPMENT (No. 129)
TIME: 3:00 PM
LOCATION: GMCS-214
SPEAKER: Carlos Rojas
Interactive Supercomputing Corporation
Waltham, MA
ABSTRACT: Star-P software is a bridge between popular computing tools such as MATLAB from The MathWorks, and high-performance computer (HPC) servers. Star-P accelerates time-to-insight for large and complex problems in science and engineering. In this talk we'll describe the Star-P architecture, show examples of how to use Star-P in Task-Parallel and Data-Parallel modes and present the possibility to connect external components to the platform using StarP's open SDK.
